Business Excellence Awards

The Business Excellence Awards recognise outstanding business practice across the caravan and RV industry. These awards celebrate businesses that demonstrate excellence in their operations, deliver high‑quality products or services, invest in their people, and contribute positively to the strength, professionalism and reputation of the industry.

Assessment is based on business achievement and activities undertaken in the past 12 months.

CRITERIA AND ELIGIBILITY

The Business Excellence Awards are open to current Caravan Industry Victoria business members operating within the following sectors:

    • Caravan and RV Manufacturing
    • Dealership
    • Retailer
    • Component Manufacturing
    • Service and Repair
    • Industry Supplier

Nominees are assessed on overall business performance, leadership, quality systems, people and culture, innovation, customer focus, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Judging considers the nature of the business, the products or services offered, business performance, customer outcomes, operational effectiveness, and contribution to the caravan and RV industry.

ASSESSMENT OF THE BUSINESS

Assessment focuses on business performance and activities undertaken over the previous 12 months, including but not limited to:

    • Business operations and performance
    • Quality, compliance, and risk management
    • Innovation and improvement initiatives
    • Customer experience and service delivery
    • Workplace culture, staff development, and community contribution
    • Future focus and commitment to ongoing excellence

CATEGORY SPECIFIC CRITERIA

Caravan & RV Manufacturing

Excellence in Caravan & RV Manufacturing

Recognises manufacturers that demonstrate excellence in production processes, build quality, compliance, and quality assurance, while working collaboratively with dealers and suppliers to deliver safe, reliable, and high‑quality caravans and RV's.

Dealership

Excellence in Dealership

Recognises dealerships that deliver outstanding customer experiences through strong manufacturer and supplier relationships, value‑added services, effective customer handovers, and transparent sales practices.

Retailer

Excellence in Retailer

Celebrates retailers that provide a strong and relevant range of products and services, deliver high‑quality customer support, and demonstrate clarity, integrity, and consistency throughout the customer journey.

Component Manufacturing

Excellence in Component Manufacturing

Recognises component manufacturers that demonstrate excellence in design, manufacturing quality, compliance, and testing, while supporting caravan and RV manufacturers through reliable supply and strong technical partnerships.

Service & Repair

Excellence in Service & Repair

Celebrates service and repair businesses that demonstrate technical excellence, consistent workmanship, safe work practices, and clear, transparent communication throughout the customer service process.

WHAT THE WINNER RECEIVES

Each Business Excellence Award category winner will be recognised for their outstanding contribution and will receive a trophy and certificate.
Their name will also be placed on the honour board at the Caravan Industry Victoria head office.
